Documents I Can Notarize
I am available to assist with a wide variety of standard paperwork, including but not limited to:
Legal & Estate Documents: Wills, trusts, power of attorney forms, medical directives, and minor travel consent forms.
Business & Financial Forms: Contracts, commercial leases, corporate agreements, and employment verification paperwork.
Automotive & Property Documents: Vehicle title transfers, bills of sale, and certain property affidavits.
What You Need to Bring to Your Appointment
To ensure a smooth and successful notarization, please remember the following:
Do Not Sign Yet: Documents must be signed directly in my presence during our appointment.
Bring Valid ID: Every signer must present a current, unexpired government-issued photo ID (such as a Texas Driver’s License, State ID, or US Passport).
Complete the Form: Ensure the document is filled out entirely except for the signature lines. I cannot notarize documents with blank spaces.
Standard Texas Notary Fees
In accordance with Texas state regulations, the maximum fees for standard notarial acts are as follows:
Protests: $4.00 for protest of a bill or note; $1.00 for each notice; $4.00 for certificate and seal.
Acknowledgments/Proofs: $10.00 for the first signature; $1.00 for each additional signature.
Jurats (Oaths/Affirmations): $10.00 including certificate and seal.
Certified Copies: $10.00 for the certificate and seal.
All Other Notarial Acts: $10.00.
Additional Fees
In accordance with Texas state regulations, the maximum fees for standard notarial acts are as follows:
Emergency (Same Day): $50.00. (Txt. 278 0822)
Travel:
- North McAllen: Included (North Of Trenton).
- Milage: Current IRS Business Mileage Rates (x2: back and forth). As of 2026, 72 cents/mi.Late Hours: 6pm to 4am (on the hour)
- 6 to 8: Time x $2
- 9 to 11: Time x $2.25
- Midnight: $30 {Time x $2.5}
- 1 to 3: (Time + 12) x $2.75
- 4 am: $40 {(Time + 12) x $2.5}Waiting: If it takes longer than 30min to complete, for each 30min an additional Late Hour fee will apply. For example: Arrival 10pm, completion 10:40, then 10am x $2.25 x 2 (over limit) = 45
